COLUMBUS, OH— NAI Ohio Equities continues its regional expansion with a new branch opening this month and the addition of an agent in the Zanesville area. With the addition of Fairfield Commercial, NAI Ohio Equities will operate the only Commercial Real Estate specific office in all of Fairfield County.
Located at 222 South Broad Street in Lancaster, Ohio the Fairfield/Lancaster Branch of NAI Ohio Equities will initially be comprised of three agents offering a full range of commercial real estate and business brokerage services. Heading up the office will be John Mott and Jeff Sauer. Both agents previously worked together for a prominent residential real estate company practicing commercial real estate and business brokerage.
John Mott, co-founder of Fairfield Commercial said it was the reputation of NAI Ohio Equities that led him to this joint venture.
“The strength of the NAI Ohio Equities brand is undeniable,” Mott said. “This joint venture allows us to utilize the technology and global reach of NAI Ohio Equities which allows Fairfield Commercial to extend our market reach beyond Fairfield County.”
Co-founder Jeff Sauer also said it was this same reputation and working relationship he created with agents of NAI Ohio Equities that led him to this decision.
“The reputation of Ohio Equities in the Columbus area is strong,” Sauer said. “Having previously worked with agents from their office, I knew first hand the company was professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with. It also presented an opportunity for John and me to join a commercial only environment which is something we were working towards.”
George “Sandy” Simpson, President of NAI Ohio Equities said the opening of an additional office in Fairfield County after the addition of the Anderson/Layman Branch in Newark last November is all part of a larger plan of future expansion.
“Because of our proven success in the local market, the expansion into Fairfield County will allow Ohio Equities to build upon the strength of our Corporate Headquarters in Columbus by taking advantage of Central Ohio Growth into outlying, smaller communities,” Simpson said.
With the U.S. Route 33 Bypass complete and the current Corridor Development Project underway, new retail development within the Lancaster area and across Memorial Drive continues to increase while several industrial parks are also seeing increased activity and development.
“The economic turn-around in the Lancaster area has been significant since the Bypass project was completed and is expected to continue to gain momentum,” Mott said. The current Corridor extension of the initial plan presents even more opportunity for growth by connecting Lancaster with the Pickerington market and southern Franklin County.”
President Sandy Simpson agreed that the opportunities in this area are endless.
“Despite perceived weakness in the economy, the Central Ohio market continues to show increased opportunities for development and expansion and I am confident that Ohio Equities and all of our branch offices will play an important role in the future growth of these areas,” Simpson said.
In addition to the Fairfield Commercial branch, NAI Ohio Equities has also expanded into the Zanesville market after recent increases in development on Maple Avenue. With the addition of agent Kim Benincasa working out of the NAI Ohio Equities Anderson Layman office, this will continue the company’s expansion plan into Muskingum County and beyond.
